GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN ACCOUNTABILITY
Accountability Provisions
All member of Congress, regardless of Chamber, shall be immediately removed from office upon a government shutdown
All members of Congress, regardless of Chamber, shall be charged with failure to uphold the Constitution, their Oaths, and be charged with Sabotage, Sedition, and Crimes Against the State
Punishments shall be up to and including the Death Penalty depending on the involvement in contribution to the Shut Down
All members of Congress, regardless of Chamber, shall forever be forbidden from holding office at any level of government, appointment, or other similar roles within the government at any level
All members of Congress, regardless of Chamber, shall have their personal assets stripped, siezed, and liquidated to support any stopgaps to the funding
Shutdown Expectations
During a government shutdown, after all members of Congress have been removed, charged, and their assets siezed, the government will continue to operate on the previous years Fiscal Operating Budget without exception.
Special Elections shall be held within 90 days of the shut down and all replacements that are elected during this time shall carry out the remaining terms of the vacated seats.
In the event that not enough candidates run for the empty seats, then the President will appoint members from existing State Legislatures to fill them
Special Elections will be held to fill any state legislative seats that were vacated in a similar manner
