CITIZENS DEPUTIZATION AUTHORITY
Purpose
The purpose of the Citizens Deputization Authority (CDA) is to ensure that even if the efforts of the state to reform law enforcement and other policing agencies fail to meet the rigorous standards of public engagement, safety, staying within their prescribed mandate, adhering to their protocols, and staying with their bounds of conduct and authority, the CDA shall always be in place to ensure that civilians shall have the legal authority and means to forcibly hold policing agencies accountable, up to and including with lethal force.
Scope
All citizens that have reached the age of majority (18 at the time of writing), who have a clean criminal record, devoid of violent, or sexual offenses, shall be automatically registered in the CDA.
Registration serves as the Militia registration as part of the Gun Ownership Reforms
Registrants shall at anytime be able to intervene against policing activities if they exceed the public mandate of use of force, or interaction
Registrants shall be required to prove their registration, and file a report through the local militia for their activities
Registrants are still accountable to use of force standards, and other protocols involved in policing activities
Lethal force is always authorized, but registrants must prove registration of their firearms, training, and use of force qualifications, and have sufficient evidence to support the justification
Policing agents who refuse to adhere to the demands of the CDA are committing a High Crime against the state and are immediately qualified for use of lethal force to stop their activities
Authority
The authority shall rest within the 2nd Amendment, and the oversight shall be with the Federal Government, through their subordinate agencies through to the local level.
Sufficient resources shall exist to facilitate the tracking of, reporting of, and adherence to the requirements as set forth in this provision
This authority is in conjunction with the establishment of an official state sanctioned militia program as outlined in the “Responsible Gun Reforms” policies.
